Have you heard of Pop Up Wedding? If not you need to read this post! Have you dreamed of having a small elopement styled wedding but still with some of the traditional wedding details?  This October we are heading to Jasper, Alberta with Pierre & Co. and teaming up with Pyramid Lake Resort to provide the most amazing and unique  experience of just that.

What is it?

It is a styled elopement with the main components of a traditional wedding all put together for an amazing 2-hour wedding with up to 20 guests! All you need to do is show up all dressed up with your marriage license and the rest is taken care of! Melissa at Pierre & Co. will be taking care of venue, decor, marriage commissioner, bouquet, the photographer (yours truly), cake, appetizers, drinks and even the invitations for your 20 guests! Talk about a stress-free day!

How does it work?

Once you chat with Melissa and get yourself all booked you will need to book your hair and makeup, I recommend Wild Orchid Salon in Jasper. Once you are dressed and ready you show up at Pyramid Lake Resort for your ceremony where all your guests will be. You will work with the Melissa and the commissioner to create your custom wedding vows. After the ceremony, you will be whisked away by your amazing photographer, me, for your 30 minute styled portrait session while your 20 guests enjoy cocktails and delicious appetizers. After your portraits are complete you will have time for mingling, cake and finish off with your first dance!

Is this for me?

This is really where you want to look at what your wedding day expectations and values are. This obviously isn’t for the couple who wish to have a 100 person wedding with a full wedding day event. What is your realistic wedding budget? If you are looking for a budget-friendly option for the traditional wedding that let’s face it can cost upwards of $35,000 (or even a lot more than that!) and want to keep it small and intimate than this is for you. If you want that gorgeous mountain styled wedding where you don’t have to worry about anything or maybe you want to use this opportunity to do a vow-renewal! Why not use this for an affordable vow-renewal I mean it is the perfect option with little planning on your part!
