As I venture into the wedding planning for our wedding along with being in the industry for 13 years now, I know the importance of reducing wedding stress. So here I am creating content to try to help you through this process, even if we aren't a great fit for eachother I'm happy for you and excited to help in any way I can.
Fourteen years ago, I picked up a camera and fell in love with capturing weddings here in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Photography has been my world for nearly 15 years, it has taken me to more destination weddings than I could ever dream and it will always be part of my story. But recently, I’ve felt a quiet tug in my creative heart. A whisper that said, “There’s more to tell.”
Photos freeze a single moment in time. They’re powerful. But I couldn’t ignore the feeling that something was missing.
Think about your wedding day for a second. It’s not just about how things looked. It’s about how it felt.
These are the details that fade fastest in memory and photos can’t preserve them. But video does. Wedding films let you hear, see, and feel your day all over again.
That’s the magic I’ve been craving to create for the last 7 years I’ve felt this pull.
After years of serving couples through photography, I realized I wasn’t just chasing beautiful portraits I was chasing stories. The cinematic kind. Stories that move, breathe, and unfold with music, words, and motion.
Videography is my way of honouring that calling. It’s stepping into the fullness of who I am as an artist and giving couples something they’ll never regret investing in: the ability to relive their day with all five senses.
What This Means for Couples
If you’re already booked for photos I’m still so excited to capture you in the best light and moments and for you to hear my “ahhhhh this is gorgeous” moments. However, for any new inquiries we have made the decision to take video inquiries first and foremost. If you’re wanting the best of both worlds we have come up with 2 collections that include portrait time only photographs (no prep, ceremony, reception photos at all… just portrait time) with the rest of the entire day dedicated to video only.
Some say it’s a bold and crazy move, but for us it’s where our passion is the deepest which means you’re getting our 200% efforts to go above and beyond.
This next chapter excites me more than words can say. Videography isn’t just another service. It’s a love letter to couples who want to remember not only what their wedding looked like, but how their hearts felt.
If you’re planning your wedding in Grande Prairie or dreaming of a mountain elopement in Alberta, I’d love to talk about how film can tell your story in the most meaningful way.
