I have been extremely fortunate to have been invited to so many private property venues the last 6 years… like 85% of my weddings have been held at family acerages. However, I have still shot at some incredible locations here in Grande Prairie! Here are a few of my favourite venues. Ideally having your ceremony and reception at one location saves a ton of time allowing for more photos and drinks with guests but I do know that it isn’t always an option.

Bear Creek Golf Course – I absolutely love this venue for your entire wedding day. Add some beautiful drapery on their alter and you can really make it a romantic set up. It is the perfect venue to sneak out for those gorgeous sunset photos. I love the outdoor patio for those warmer summer evenings to just pop out and cool off. Their menu options are incredible… poutine or taco bar for midnight snacks need I say more?

Jeffrey’s Loft – If you are wanting a small intimate wedding in a very modern place look no further than Jeffrey’s. This place has it all. The food, drinks and atmosphere of their loft is the perfect location for your all in one spot for ceremony and reception. Honestly you don’t need much to make this place all your own for your wedding day with their modern designs and that amazing window light!

Serenity Acres – Oh how this place feels like my second home, literally! Last year I was fortunate enough to shoot half my weddings there! It’s close enough to town but far enough that you feel like you’re on a little getaway! Let’s not leave out that gorgeous view from the deck of the valley.

Holiday Inn – A great spot for your reception and indoor ceremony as well. Super convenient for your guests to get a room and not worry about anybody driving home. The food that I have been lucky enough to indulge in to give me that evening energy for receptions has been amazing! Like mouth watering good food!

Millwood Country Inn

This beautiful wedding venue just a short drive from Grande Prairie offers a beautiful all in one place to host your ceremony and reception. Surrounded by stunning greenery nestled in a rural landscape this place has endless places to find that magic pop of light. No need to worry about an alter the treed path provides its own stunning backdrop to exchange your vows.
