As I venture into the wedding planning for our wedding along with being in the industry for 13 years now, I know the importance of reducing wedding stress. So here I am creating content to try to help you through this process, even if we aren't a great fit for eachother I'm happy for you and excited to help in any way I can.
When I found out that Jessica grew up in the Okanagan (we actually grew up in the same town!) and Taylor also grew up in BC, I knew that their engagement session had to be somewhere that wasn’t so “Alberta” so we opted for the “lake”. One of the best things about photography is the ability to give any location that “wow where was this look” (that’s what I call it). So on a gorgeous early summer evening we headed out to Saskatoon Lake just west of Grande Prairie.
Jessica and Taylor were so easy to photograph, they have that natural glow when they are together. These two didn’t stop smiling the entire session, they made my job too easy! One of the things I always ask my couples is that they bring an alternate outfit just to get a good variety of images as we change locations so that all the images don’t look the same.
We didn’t end up with the gorgeous sunset due to poor judgement on the time that time of year (some evenings in the summer the sun doesn’t set until 11pm!) but we were blessed with gorgeous sunlight and the heat as well!
